Before there were four ...

Our last day as a family of three. Kinda scary and exciting all rolled up into one. Exciting because we are thrilled to welcome Joel into our lives, but scary because of all the changes that will mean for each of us. We are ready though. It's going to be an exciting time.

We decided to make our last night as a family of three special by taking Madelyn bowlng for the first time. Grandma arrived earlier in the day and was able to join us making it that much more special. Madelyn was excited to go bowling although she had no idea what that meant. It didn't take her long to get the hang of it though. Here are some pictures of our fun family evening.

Check out these cool shoes! They were a little too big which made grandma and I crack up watching Madelyn try to walk AND carry a bowling ball in them.
