Conversations with Madelyn

Madelyn says the funniest things. She made me laugh with this comment yesterday.

Mommy: Look Madelyn, Joel's talking to us.

Madelyn: Uh huh, he said he wants a cookie! ... a baby cookie.


And this one too ...

Mommy: Madelyn, what color is your car going to be when you get big?

Madelyn: Purple and yellow! ... and green ... and blue ... and pink! ... and grey.

Mommy: That's sound fun! What color is Joel's car going to be?

Madelyn: White.


And this one today during a bedtime thunderstorm that scared her ...

Mommy: I like the sound of the rain. I think it sounds pretty.

Madelyn: Not to me mommy!
